Today I Smiled...

~ Finding out my surgery is tomorrow and not next week as I had thought, if I'm in pain I should be fine by thanksgiving

~ Receiving my 2014 calendars in the mail. I ordered them through Amazon on October 25, it only took 10 days to receive them! I ordered Messages From Your Angels Wall Calendar, and Whispers From Above Day Calendar

~ Throwing myself a pre-surgery fiesta, consisting of chocolate milk and a small bag of nacho cheese doritoes

Gnocci, Extra Sleep, Big Bars

Today I Smiled...

~ Carole made Gnocci for dinner, my absolute favorite and traditional birthday dinner

~ Receiving an extra hour to sleep this morning as Daylight Savings Time ended this morning, and will start back up on March 9, 2014

~ Carole's girls didn't just get mini candy bars from the houses they trick-or-treated at but big bars as well!

Trip #2, Redford Grill, Mini Mint Cookies

Today I Smiled...

~ Picking up two dozen Tim Horton muffins to bring to the OB birthday party for Pam Parker, and going in for trip part two

~ Dining at Redford Grill because I always wanted to try that place after work. Lunch was two big mozzarella sticks (bosco sticks), buffalo strips, and Mountain Dew

~ Enjoying the Mini Mint Moonbeams ordered from Carmelita, yummalucious!

~ Tim Horton's pumpkin white mocha  was exceptionally good today, and I loved the orange & black sprinkles on my donut!

~ Playing Words With Friends with Carmelita while she's also busy on her job

~ Listening to Coast To Coast's archive show "Magic Spells & Saints" from last Thursday, Judika Illes was on and very interesting to listen to

~ Enjoying a Pumpkin Pie White Mocha from Tim Horton's, soooo yum!

~ Seeing the calendar turn to October, my favorite month!

~ Browsing new 2014 calendars on the web, there are so many pretty ones to chose from! I want one, and only one, special calendar next year! This year I had several (Christian Riese Lassen, Alex Grey, Victoriana, and Thomas Kincade Gardens Of Grace, at work I had a mini Christian Riese Lassen calendar I hung by Bino's bowl)  and because of that they lost a little bit of their grandeur

~ Popping into Miss Vickie's Cafe in the Redford Library, I love having a library that has a tiny refreshment shop

~ Finding a pay phone in the library, I didn't think there were any more!
